The ICCANYC-Metro Chapter is local chapter of the (ICCA) Independent
Computer Consultants Association, a national organization for computer professionals.
The New York chapter provides a great place for networking and business discussions at
our monthly meetings. We have a wide range of speakers ranging from technical topics on
the industry to business related topics.
How to make your local chapter work for you:
Come to meetings and network
Come to board meetings and give suggestions on what you want the chapter to do for you
Be active in planning the chapter events and meetings
Network with other member firms
Become a committee member
Encourage others to join
Get to know other members' specialties and refer them so they refer you
Write an article for the chapter newsletter
E-mail the president for what you want out of the chapter
