| Liz Lynch gave us a presentation in January, 2006. Our members gave her the HIGHEST evaluation score of any of our speakers since we have been keeping records. We are lucky to have Liz speak to us again.
The biggest secret about networking is that almost everyone needs to do it. Business owners, job seekers and sales people should certainly embrace it. But networking is a critical skill for anyone working in the information economy. If you need the knowledge and cooperation of others to succeed in your profession, you need to network.
But you don't need to be an extrovert. Learn how to turn networking into a simple process that can help you build quality relationships with ease, the kind of relationships that can help you land the big sale, find the perfect job, or look like a hero. It's easier than
you think and Liz will show you how.
Liz Lynch is president of Consult Ad Hoc Inc., a consulting and training firm that helps growing companies earn more profits in less time with less effort. Liz functions as a Chief Profit Officer, working with clients on an ongoing or project basis on issues such as how to price products and services, how to evaluate customer profitability, and how to measure and improve financial performance.
She is also the author of "102 Secrets to Smarter Networking", a guide that takes an analytical and systematic approach to networking so readers can get more from their efforts. Not a natural-born networker, Liz leveraged her other talents to create a process that has helped her build a successful business almost exclusively through networking.
Liz speaks regularly to groups and companies on business management and networking issues, and created and hosted the live Internet radio program "Analyze This". She is founder and co-chair of the Free Agent Special Interest Group (SIG) at the New York New Media Association (NYNMA), and a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Let's Talk Business Network (LTBN).
Prior to founding Consult Ad Hoc in 2000, Liz worked at top firms such as Goldman Sachs, Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Disney, and Time Inc. She holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and an engineering degree from U.C. Berkeley.
