(though calling him a "tech" seems to undervalue what he does)

Due to the recent flood of 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet switches and
workstations coming on the market, there seems to be a lot of confusion
on the type of network cabling (infrastructure) this equipment was designed
to connect over.
